Not only will Puritan Premium absorb 2X more moisture, but will eliminate ammonia odors without the use of cover scents. Puritan Premium’s special formula converts liquids to non-liquids in minutes, and eliminates vapors. No vapors, no ammonia odors.

Equine bedding materials typically consist of sawdust, wood shavings and wood pellets. The best effective absorption ratio of these materials is 1:2 (1# of wood pellets will typically absorb 2# of water.) Puritan Premium is a product that absorbs 5X’s its weight quickly and will not leach.

PRODUCT COMPARISON:

In a stripped stall (12’ x 12’) evenly distribute 4 to 5 40lb. bags of Puritan
Premium. DO NOT ADD WATER.

Over the next 10 to 12 days you may only need to add 1 bag. One bag of Puritan Premium absorbs about 25 gallons of water based liquid.

With sawdust or pre-moistened pine pellets, you can expect to use two to three
times this amount and have no control over leaching, which results in further
contamination of bedding materials. Please take a few minutes to consider how
